Tips in Choosing a Right Fitting Bra
It is extremely important for women to wear the correct size of bra due to many health and appearance related issues. An ill fitting bra can cause posture problem, muscle tension, back pain and sometimes headaches. Besides, the breast will be hurt and not healthy if wearing a too tight bra. A too loose bra can cause breast sagging. Hence, below are few tips that can help us to choose a fitted bra.
Finding the correct band size of the bra is important in giving good support to the breast. In order to get the right band size, always measure around the body that is under the breast with a tape measure. The measuring tape should lay flat on the body and round across the back. Always round up to next even number if an odd number is measured. The bra should fits snugly onto the body. The bra band should not be riding up on the back which means the band is too loose and not supporting the breast. If this is the case, one should look for a smaller band size or tighten the hook of the bra.
In addition, finding the accurate cup size is also important in supporting and holding the full bust in place. The tape measure should be under the armpits and measured over the fullest part of the bust in order to get the correct cup size. Wearing a fitted size of the cup should be able to cover and hold the whole breast in shape without any soft tissue bulging out from the side or top. The cup size is too small if there is any bulging and the cup is too big if a cup wrinkle is noticed.
The bra strap should not be digging into the flesh of the shoulder. Instead it should fits snugly and not causing any red marks or shoulder pain when wearing the correct length of bra strap. The bra strap will remain in place even after the strap is stripped off. This means it is a good fitting bra because it gives support to the bust from the band and not the bra strap.
It should always be remembered that if a bra fits correctly, it should provide full comfort and support to the breast.
