Maternity bikini is ideal for pregnant woman who is daring, trendy and wants more skin exposure. The bikini is usually made from stretchable fabrics because it is specifically tailored to accommodate the belly growth. It is commonly worn either below the belly or at mid belly. The bikini bottom usually comes with a stretchy and comfortable waistband, thereby one can expose the growing belly with ease.

By contrast, for those who do not want to expose their expanding tummies while wearing the swim suits, it is advisable to wear a cover up. It is breezy, soft and light to wear. It is available in many designs such as tunic with v neckline and adjustable back tie, front ruffle, pleated and wrap swim cover up. It is great to wear as a fitted tank top or tube top and paired with a pair of jeans, casual pant or short.

The various types of maternity swimsuits come in different colors, designs and patterns. Some women prefer dark and solid colors for a slimmer effect while others choose colorful patterns or floral prints of the latest trend for stylish and fashionable looks. The most important aspect is to choose one that can complement our styles, needs, shapes and sizes. There are so many choices available in the market and on the web we can easily find an ideal swimwear to add to our maternity wardrobe.
